TWO men have been given warnings for being in possession of cannabis whilst in their vehicles.
East Renfrewshire police first stopped a 22-year-old on Netherplace Road in Newton Mearns at around 8.15pm on Friday, January 17 before searching him.
A bag containing herbal cannabis was recovered from the driver.
The following evening, a 20-year-old man was also searched in his vehicle on Braidholm Road in Giffnock. Cops said they recovered a quantity of cannabis from him.
The men were both issued with recorded police warnings.
