A TEENAGER remains in hosptial after he was stabbed in the leg during a street rammy. 

The 16-year-old is currently being cared for in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, after the incident on Saturday night. 

Detectives investigating the crime have confirmed they are treating it as an attempted murder. 

Cops were called to Oakshaw Street, Paisley, at around 11pm following reports a boy had been stabbed in the leg.

The victim was part of a large group who were seen hanging in the area at the time. 

A distubrance broke out and the victim was knifed. 

He was rushed to to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, before being transfered to Glasgow and medics there have described his condition as stable. 

Police say they are searching for a suspect who was wearing red trousers.
