And while there is no weather warning in place for the likes of Johnstone and Linwood, you'd still be advised to look out the brolley with forecasters expecting a wet and wild weekend in Renfrewshire.
The fourth named storm of the 2019-20 season, Dennis, is set to bring a second consecutive weekend of wet and windy weather after Ciara struck the UK with winds of up to 97mph.
It follows days of snowfall and heavy flooding across the county and disruption to public transport.
This included the cancellation of services on the Renfrew Ferry on Sunday with a number of businesses also having to temporarily close due to the conditions.
Many locals have also taken to social media to complain about blocked drains and heavy flooding.
