A PENSIONER was battered by a thug during a late-night attack in a Renfrewshire Street.
The 70-year-old was attacked by a man in Inchinnan Road, Paisley, at around 10.20pm yesterday.
He suffered no major injuries in the incident, but a 38-year-old man was also involved and is currently being treated in the town’s Royal Alexandra Hospital.

Police say his condition is serious but not life threatening.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
