The shocking incident took place in Orchard Street
A TERRIFIED homeowner was glassed inside his Renfrew home during an early morning robbery bid.
A gang forced their way into an Orchard Street property at around 1am on Saturday.
The four men threatened a man, aged 34, during the raid, demanding property and money, and before the victim.
But, the gang eventually left empty handed, although it is understood they made-off with some takeaway food.
The man was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, for treatment, where he remains.
A 37-year-old man was also hurt during the incident and suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them on 101.
