A BARRHEAD salon has stopped stocking gossip magazines in response to Caroline Flack's suicide.
Lots of Locks by Marnie owner Marnie Gallagher said she would no longer stock glossy women's magazines because of the circumstances surrounding the Love Island star's death.
In a post to the salon's Facebook page, Gallagher said the salon would instead provide customers with magazines "providing personal growth, decor, food, fashion, hair inspiration, health and wellbeing".
The hair extension specialist boasts celebrity clients "from all over the UK".
She said: "We want everyone who visits Pauline & Marnie’s to be surrounded with positivity.
"We know this doesn’t stop online nasty comments and trolling. We want the best for our clients and our staff."
Lots of Locks will not stop customers from bringing their own magazines to read, however, Gallagher criticised the "pages and pages of negativity, fat-shaming, shaming celebs with no makeup" in such publications.
Caroline Flack was found dead in her Islington flat on February 15.
She was at the time being prosecuted for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, a charge they both denied.
