A MAN who admitted carrying out an attack at a bus stance has been ordered to stay out of trouble.
Leighon Foxx set upon Martin Walters at the bus stop at Braehead shopping centre, in Renfrew, on August 11, 2018.
He admitted his guilt when he appeared in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court at a pre-trial hearing in October last year.
Defence solicitor Jonathan Manson told the court that 29-year-old Foxx suffers from "a number of ailments," including Asperger syndrome and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder."
Sheriff Robert Vaughan called for a background report to be prepared by social workers ahead of sentencing and adjourned the case for that to be done, without hearing the facts.
When the matter returned to court this week, Sheriff Sukhwinder Gill was told there were problems with the background report, including a section that stated Foxx had a job when he is actually unemployed.
Sheriff Gill then adjourned the case until August.
Foxx, of the Maryhill area of Glasgow, was ordered to be of good behaviour in the meantime.
