He is alleged to have targeted a store in side intu Braehead
A MAN has been arrested for allegedly shoplifting a Renfrew store while armed with a knife.
The 50-year-old is said to have targeted Poundland, at intu Braehead, at around 5.30pm on Friday.
It is alleged he had nabbed a number of items, only to be stopped by security, who quickly became aware he had a blade on him.
The man was arrested and is due to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
