A TALENTED Renfrew schoolboy has reached the grand final of hit BBC show The Greatest Dancer.

Ashton Bradley, who attends Trinity High, has been dazzling judges on the TV talent contest as part of energetic troupe Dancepoint.

The group reached the final four in the dance competition last weekend, with 92 per cent of the studio audience turning on their light in appreciation of their classic Hollywood routine set to the Judy Garland song Get Happy.

Ashton, 13, is now hoping readers of The Gazette will get behind him this weekend as the group bid to win a cash prize of £50,000 and the chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.

He has been going from strength to strength since he joined Dancepoint 18 months ago and he plans to move to London when he is 16 to pursue a professional dancing career.

Readers can show their support for Ashton by voting for Dancepoint when the final episode of The Greatest Dancer is broadcast on BBC One on Saturday, starting at 6.30pm.
