A RENFREW schoolboy’s dreams of winning hit BBC show The Greatest Dancer has ended in disappointment.
Ashton Bradley, a pupil at Trinity High, and his energetic troupe Dancepoint finished in fourth place during the grand final on Saturday night.
The talented group performed their last Alice in Wonderland-inspired routine with dance captain Todrick Hall before being knocked out of the competition.
Ashton posted a photo of his group’s final dance on his Instagram account on Saturday night and commented: “What an experience that was!”
A spokesperson for Trinity High tweeted: “Ashton and Dancepoint are all champions. They have all worked so hard and gave fantastic performances. Although disappointed, #beproud and #keepdancing.”
The twinkle-toed 13-year-old previously told The Gazette that taking part in the show was “the best experience ever.”
Ashton has been going from strength to strength since he joined Dancepoint 18 months ago and he plans to move to London when he is 16 to pursue a professional dancing career.
