A MAN who admitted intimidating his former partner has been forced to pay the price after appearing at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Peter Connelly, 32, repeatedly phoned his ex-girlfriend and sent her social media messages and emails between February 18 and March 25, 2019.
On March 26 last year, he turned up at her home in Mains River, Erskine, and shouted and swore, as well as striking the door.
Connelly pleaded guilty to the charges, which were aggravated by being committed against a former partner, at an earlier court appearance.
When he returned to the dock last week, Sheriff Colin Pettigrew said he had behaved in a threatening and abusive manner.
He handed Connelly, previously of Duntocher and now of Castle Crescent, Bishopton, a £450 fine.
