POLE-WIELDING teens battered two brothers in a busy Johnstone street yesterday.
Police say a group of youths approached the men, aged 37 and 41, just outside Poundland, in High Street, at around 9.30pm.
They say the pair became involved in an argument with the teenagers before things turned violent.
The group, made up of both boys and girls, attacked the men with one boy understood to have picked up a pole and hit swung it at the two victims.
As the men hit the floor, the teens then ran off towards the direction of Collier Street.
The brothers suffered no serious injuries but have been left shaken by the attack.
Police are asking for anyone with information to call them on 101.
