A MAN has been arrested over an alleged theft at a garden centre in Renfrew.
It is claimed that security guards observed the suspect on CCTV entering Dobbies Garden Centre, in Kings Inch Drive, through an unlocked door at around 4.15am this morning.
Police were called to the garden centre, which is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and arrested a 29-year-old man who was reportedly found with stolen items worth £16.
The man was later released and a report has been sent to the Prosecutor Fiscal.
