A TEENAGER who went missing yesterday has been found safe and well.

The alarm was raised by police on Tuesday after Tya Miller, 14, had last been seen near Stepends Road, in Kilbarchan, at around 12.45am.

Hundreds of people shared their appeal as concern grew for the teenager's wellbeing.

A police spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that Tya Miller (14) who was reported missing from the Kilbarchan area has been traced safe and well.

"The public and media are thanked for their assistance."
