A MAN has been charged with illegal possession of a knife in a Renfrewshire street.
Police stopped the 31-year-old suspect in Barnsford Road, Inchinnan, at around 6pm on Tuesday, after a member of the public reported observing a man who appeared to be under the influence.
The man was allegedly found with a blade in his wallet, which had been concealed within a credit card.
He was taken into custody before being released later.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
