A HOWWOOD hospice has been handed a welcome cash boost by leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey West Scotland.
The £5,000 donation for St Vincent’s Hospice comes at a time when the charity desperately needs funds as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown.
Kate Lennon, the hospice’s chief executive, said: “The financial challenges for charity hospices remain urgent and we wish to thank everyone at Taylor Wimpey from the bottom of our heart for their generous donation.”
David Blair, managing director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: “We’re looking at other ways for our staff to support some of the hospice’s online fundraising initiatives.”
