POLICE are hunting a thug who assaulted and robbed a man in a Renfrewshire street.
The 60-year-old victim was left dazed and confused after being attacked in East Lane, Paisley, at around midnight on Saturday.
The yob hit the victim in the head and stole a sum of money, which the man had withdrawn from a cash machine a few moments earlier.
Police said the victim was later taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment to his head injury.
The suspect is described as of medium build and was wearing dark clothing at the time.
Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information to call them on 101.
