A WOMAN has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon after police were called to a disturbance in Renfrew.
The 32-year-old suspect was reported to cops by members of the public for reportedly brandishing a hammer and shouting at passers-by in Iona Road on Saturday night.
She was arrested at around 9.40pm and is due to appear in court at a later date.
