A MAN has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance in Johnstone on Monday.
The 27-year-old suspect was reportedly shouting abuse towards members of the public in Thomson Avenue and was found lying on the ground when officers arrived at the scene.
After searching the man, police are said to have found he was in possession of a kitchen knife.
He was taken into custody at around 4.10pm and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
