POLICE have appealed for help to find a missing man with links to Johnstone.

David Cameron, 31, was last seen in Saltcoats at around 9pm on Wednesday, June 10, in the Lochwood Gardens area.

He had left his home in a red Ford Fiesta (registration SV56 ZSW). It is believed he may have travelled to the Johnstone or Paisley areas.

David is described as around 5 ft 9 ins, slim build, with very short brown hair and freshly shaven.

He wears glasses. When last seen, he was wearing black Adidas jogging trousers and a blue Nike jumper with red stripes.

Sergeant Martin Fraser, of Saltcoats Police Station, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for David's welfare. Our officers are carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to trace him. If David is reading this, I would ask him to please get in touch with police, family, or friends to let us know that he is safe."

Anyone who has any information on David's whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 0490 of 11 June.
