A MAN has been arrested for allegedly destroying the shopfront at a Johnstone beauty salon with a crowbar.
The alarm was raised after a member of the public saw windows at Mystique, in the town’s High Street, being smashed at around 10.20pm on Tuesday.
A 52-year-old man was later traced by officers and charged with vandalism.
Police said the shopfront was extensively damaged and has now been boarded up.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
