POLICE have appealed for help to find a man who has disappeared from Paisley.

Iren Muca, 31, was last seen in the town's Christie Street at around 2.30pm on Saturday, July 4.

He is Albanian and speaks little English.

He is described as white with sallow skin, 5ft 11ins in height, of medium build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing dark jogging bottoms, a red jumper, dark coloured trainers and a black 'Aviator' style jacket with a cream fur trim around the collar, cuffs and waistband. He had a grey hooded top underneath the jacket.

Sergeant Megan Bryson, of Paisley Police Station, said: "Iren is new to Paisley and doesn't know the area at all. As far as we are aware, he has not been in touch with anyone locally since he was last seen. We believe he has a small amount of money with him and a mobile phone.

"Officers are currently checking CCTV in the area to trace him and are working with local transport providers as well as colleagues in BTP in an effort to trace him.

"Any who knows where Iren is or who has any information that will assist officers in finding him can call Paisley Police Office via 101. Please quote reference number 1030 of 7 July 2020 when calling.

"We'd also ask Iren to get in touch so we can make sure he is ok."
