POLICE are appealing for information after a disturbance near Elderslie Post Office yesterday afternoon.

Two women, who are understood to be known to each other, were seen fighting in the village’s Main Road at around 4pm after a heated argument broke out between them.

They are believed to be in their early 30s and were accompanied by two men.

Both women ran away in different directions following the fight and CCTV footage is currently being reviewed as part of an investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
