POLICE are appealing for help to find man who has disappeared from Renfrew.

Thomas Christie, 44, was last seen at around 8.30pm on Thursday in the Eastwood area of Glasgow.

He is 5ft 7ins in height, with brown hair and blue eyes. He occasionally wears glasses.

When last seen, he was wearing black jogging trousers, a navy blue T-shirt and white trainers.

Thomas has access to a green coloured Vauxhall Zafira vehicle, with registration number SJ05 WLH.

He is known to often visit the Balloch, Luss and Loch Lomond areas.

Sergeant Dean Shankie, of Renfrew Police Station, said: “This is out of character for Thomas not to be in contact with his family for this length of time.

I would appeal to Thomas to make contact with either his family or the police as soon as possible to confirm that he is safe an well, as his family are concerned for his safety.”

Anyone who has seen Thomas or who has any information on his whereabouts should contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2436 of Saturday, July 18.
