TRAIN services passing through Johnstone and Milliken Park will be running at a reduced speed due to flooding.
Heavy downpours have left towns in Renfrewshire flooded, causing delays.
And ScotRail staff are now on site with pumps to try to drain water from the lines.
A spokesperson for ScotRail said: “We’ve had reports of flooding between Johnstone and Milliken Park, so for safety reasons trains will run at a reduced speed until the water level drops to a more suitable level.
“Staff are now on site with pumps to try to remove the water. Train services between Glasgow Central and Ardrossan Harbour, Ayr and Largs will be delayed by up to 20 minutes.”
The Linwood Toll was also shut down by council chiefs at around 3pm after being battered by heavy showers today.

A Renfrewshire Council spokesperson said: "The road at Linwood Toll is now closed. Please avoid the area and take care if you are travelling today."
It's not the first time this year the road has been brought to a standstill. In February, during an extended spell of dreich weather, pictures emerged of emergency vehicles stranded in the street due to heavy rain.
