SC Beauty store in William Street, Johnstone
A MAN has been arrested for allegedly threatening another man with an axe in Johnstone.
It is claimed the 31-year-old suspect confronted a 25-year-old man outside the SC Beauty store, in William Street, at around 4.45pm on Tuesday.
After reportedly threatening the man, the suspect drove off in his car, which was parked nearby.
Officers later traced him and he was taken into custody.
Police said he was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
