Emergency services who rushed to the scene found the vehicle well ablaze
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after car was discovered on fire in Elderslie.
Emergency services who rushed to the scene near Auchenlodment Road at around 2.35pm on Tuesday found the vehicle well ablaze.
Police said the car had been parked on a remote path and confirmed they are treating the incident as wilful fireraising.
The car was extensively damaged but it is understood that no-one was injured.
Detectives investigating the blaze are asking for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to contact them on 101.
