Tony Macaroni at Soar at intu Braehead
A MAN has been arrested for a number of offences following a disturbance outside a Renfrew restaurant.
Police were called to Tony Macaroni at Soar at intu Braehead at around 7pm on Wednesday after the 21-year-old suspect reportedly attacked a 28-year-old woman.
When officers arrived at the scene, the man ran off but was taken into custody nearby a short time later.
He was charged with assault, vandalism, possession of a lock-back knife and two police assaults.
A police spokesperson said the woman was not injured and the suspect was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
