Newmains Primary, in Lang Avenue, Renfrew
POLICE are appealing for information after new turf was stolen from a Renfrew school.
Officers were called to Newmains Primary, in Lang Avenue, at around 7pm on Thursday after receiving a report of a man and two women placing turf into a wheelie bin.
However, the three suspects made off in the direction of Holmes Avenue before police arrived at the scene.
The man is described as in his early 20s, tall, thin and bald. At the time, he was wearing a black top and jogging bottoms.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
