A MAN has been arrested in connection with a number of thefts in Johnstone.
The 44-year-old suspect was taken into custody at his Johnstone home on Friday morning as part of an investigation carried out by the local community policing team.
He has been charged with six offences following alleged housebreakings and thefts at homes, garden sheds and cars around the Park Road area.
Police said he would make an appearance in court on Monday.
Officers have also urged residents in the Park Road area to contact them if they believe they have been a victim of a housebreaking or theft.
