TEST and Protect staff have commenced contact tracing at two more Renfrewshire schools.
Bosses at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) confirmed a list of close contacts had been established within Johnstone High and Mossvale Primary, in Paisley.
They have said that positive cases had been identified but there is currently no evidence of transmission within the school itself.
A Renfrewshire Council spokesperson said: "Working closely with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, we have carried out a careful risk assessment on the schools, assisted by our staff.
"All parents and carers whose children have been identified as close contacts are being contacted and advised to self-isolate and are being given appropriate advice and support.
"If you have not already been contacted, your child should still attend school as normal."
