Moorburn Place in Linwood
A MAN has been charged with serious assault following a disturbance in Linwood.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested after police were called to a house in Moorburn Place at around 3.30pm on Tuesday.
On arrival, officers found an injured 52-year-old man who was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, where staff described his condition as serious but stable.
A police spokesperson confirmed a man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
