Police confirmed that two men have been charged with alleged drug offences
TWO men have been arrested after police seized tens of thousands of pounds worth of drugs in Renfrew.
One of the suspects is said to have tried to flee the scene when officers swooped on Vanguard Way at around 1.30pm yesterday.
Following a short chase, he was taken into custody and, it is claimed, found to be in possession of two kilograms of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £30,000.
Police confirmed that two men, both aged 28, have been charged with alleged drug offences and are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
