Police have confirmed the incident is being treated as wilful fireraising
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a bin was torched outside a house in Erskine.
Officers were called to Maxwell Drive, in the Bargarran area of town, at around 4am on Saturday.
The blaze was extinguished before anyone was injured but police have confirmed the incident is being treated as wilful fireraising.
Officers are also investigating reports of a small fire being extinguished by a Linwood resident on Friday night, after youths were spotted gathering in Bridge of Weir Road at around 8pm.
Anyone with information regarding either incident is asked to call the police on 101.
