A 12-year-old boy has been left traumatised after being attacked by a gang in a playpark in Glasgow's West End.
The schoolboy was targeted in Old Station Park in Hyndland and was left with cuts and bruises after the attack, which is said to have involved a group of teenagers.
The incident, which happened last Friday evening, has caused concern amongst families in the area with parents warning others to remain vigilant.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 6.40pm on Friday, 25 September, we received reports that a 12-year-old boy had been assaulted by a group of youths in Old Station Park, Hyndland.
“The boy did not require any medical attention.
"Officers provided suitable advice and enquiries into the incident at ongoing.”
