Two teenagers were rushed to hospital yesterday afternoon after an attack on a bus. 

Police were called to the scene on Gorbals Street at around 2.40pm after receiving reports of a stabbing on-board the vehicle. 

Two 14-year-old boys were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to their injuries. 

Enquiries into the attack are ongoing. 

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 2.40pm on Sunday, 4 October, 2020, police received report of a serious assault onboard a bus on Gorbals Street, Glasgow.

“Two male youths, both aged 14, sustained serious injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
