A 71-year-old man has died after a crash on a major motorway yesterday.
The collision took place around 2.30pm on Friday on the M8 eastbound near junction 13 for Riddrie.
A black Jaguar CF collided with multiple vehicles before coming to a stop on the hard shoulder.
The driver, aged 71, was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been informed.

Nobody else was injured in the incident.
Police are appealing for information as they investigate the fatal crash.
A statement from the force reads: "Anyone who may have seen what happened or who has dash-cam footage that could help with the investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2104 of Friday, November 13."
