POLICE are hunting three thugs who attacked a man in a Renfrew street.
The 31-year-old victim suffered serious injuries to his head when he was assaulted in Broadloan at around 2.35pm on Friday.
He was rushed by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, where he was treated for his wounds before being released.
Police are treating the incident as a serious assault and CCTV footage is being reviewed as part of an investigation.
Officers believe the three suspects fled the scene in the direction of Cambridge Road.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who has information is asked to call officers on 101.
