The cold snap we've been enduring is set to last a little longer yet, with temperatures due to remain around freezing for the next three days according to the Met Office.

The roads and pavements have iced up across the area with reports coming in of pedestrians taking tumbles and vehicles becoming stranded on untreated roads.

Gritters Thawin' Batty and Paisleigh have been covering roads today, but due to a lack of manpower and resources are unable to cover every patch of ice.

Across Renfrewshire, volunteers have been taking to the street to spray the pavement with salt so that others can safely walk along them.

With that in mind, below are some images that show where the nearest grit bin is in your location.
