A MAN has been charged with serious assault following a disturbance at a Renfrewshire hotel.
The 41-year-old suspect reportedly attacked a 39-year-old man with a weapon at Motel Air, Inchinnan Road, Paisley, at around 5.45pm yesterday.
Police, who wouldn't confirm the type of weapon involved in the alleged incident, said the younger man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, for treatment to a cut on his face before being released.
The suspect is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
