A WOMAN has been charged with breach of the peace, vandalism, possession of a knife and breach of bail following an incident in Renfrew.
It is claimed the 21-year-old suspect went to a property in Paisley Road at around 7.50pm on Saturday, January 2 and started shouting abuse at the 42-year-old woman who lives there.
The woman allegedly caused damage to the front door by stabbing it with a knife, as well as thrusting the blade through the letterbox.
When police arrived at the scene, the suspect was traced nearby and allegedly found to be in breach of her bail conditions.
She was taken into custody and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
