A man was charged with breach of the peace and resisting arrest
A MAN was arrested after nine people were reportedly found inside a Johnstone home in breach of Covid regulations.
Police went to the property in McLaurin Crescent at around 4pm on Saturday after receiving reports about a disturbance.
The nine people in attendance were issued with Covid tickets and a man was charged with breach of the peace and resisting arrest.
After being taken into custody, he was allegedly found to be in possession of five bags of white powder, which have been sent for analysis.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
