A MAN has been arrested by police investigating an alleged stabbing in Erskine.
Officers said a 41-year-old man and a dog were discovered seriously injured at around 10.55am on Sunday following reports of a disturbance within a property in Blantyre Court.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, where he received treatment and was later released.
The dog received veterinary care.
Police said a 33-year-old man was later taken into custody and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
