RENFREWSHIRE residents woke up to a blanket of snow yesterday as winter took an icy grip on local towns and villages.
However, the big freeze didn’t stop people from heading outdoors to take in the stunning scenery.
Among those who have been out and about to enjoy the big freeze is William Best, who used a drone to capture this stunning image of snow-covered Kilbarchan.
Also among those who sent images to The Gazette was Alison Livingstone, who was chilling out in Paisley with a bottle of wine.
Meanwhile, Mandy McNamee and her pet pooches Blue and Sonny were enjoying the snow at their Johnstone home.
Elsewhere, Donna Wallace was out and about in snowy Howwood.
