A PROBE has been launched following reports of residents in Johnstone being left without water this morning.
It is understood that scores of residents have been experiencing an interruption to their water supply and low water pressure in their homes.
Engineers at Scottish Water are currently investigating the issue to locate the source of the problem.
A spokesperson for the company said: "Customers in Johnstone have reported an interruption to their water supply.
"We are currently on the way to investigate the issue and are aiming to be on site as soon as possible.
"While we investigate, please be aware that you may experience no water supply or low/intermittent water pressure. You may also experience discoloured water."
