Man arrested after allegedly shouting sectarian abuse at woman
A MAN has been arrested after allegedly shouting sectarian abuse at a woman in Johnstone.
It is claimed the 53-year-old suspect hurled anti-Catholic insults at a 29-year-old woman in Russell Street at around 7.20pm on Sunday.
He was promptly arrested by officers but later released on an undertaking and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
