The alleged assault took place at Johnstone train station
A TEENAGER has been charged with serious assault following a disturbance at Johnstone train station.
The 16-year-old suspect reportedly attacked another man at around 7.15pm on Friday.
It is claimed the injured man was struck on the back of his head, which caused him to fall and hit his head on the pavement.
After undergoing treatment for serious head injuries, hospital staff have now described his condition as "stable."
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
