A MAN has been charged with a drink-driving offence after crashing his car in Bishopton.
The 53-year-old motorist was allegedly seen colliding with a barrier at a roundabout in Greenock Road at around 11pm on Saturday, before driving off in the direction of Dargavel.
He was later traced by police at his home address, where he was reportedly found to be three times over the drink-drive limit.
Police said the suspect was taken into custody and later released on an undertaking.
He will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.
