AN investigation has been launched after a woman was attacked by two powerful dogs in a Renfrewshire street.
Police said the 47-year-old victim suffered injuries to her face and leg during the attack by "pitbull-type dogs."
She was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment after the incident, which took place in Woodside Crescent, Paisley, at around 5.45am yesterday.
One of the dogs is fawn in colour, while the other is brown.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack and, in particular, a man who was seen in the area at the time.
He is described as 6ft tall, of medium build, with short, dark hair and was wearing a leather jacket and dark blue trainers.
Anyone who has information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident number 0459 of March 18.
