POLICE are appealing for information after two garden sheds were targeted by a thief in Linwood.
The first incident in Bridge of Weir Road took place at around 2pm on Saturday, when a pair of bolt cutters were stolen from an insecure shed.
A member of the public then spotted a young man breaking into a locked shed in a nearby back garden, which led to the suspect fleeing the scene empty-handed.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
